TestedBeauty - Dedicated to testing beauty products to see if they live up to hype & expectations - http://awe.sm/hJF17
I know I haven’t been blogging for quite a while. Sorry about that. I started a new blog on wordpress. http://londonmakeuploves.wordpress.com/ It’s the same style of blog, whereby I do reviews on cosmetics products.
I am much more interested in Blogs which are reviews rather than just images. I find it frustrating seeing so many pretty things on tumblr and not being able to find out where to get them from.
I think I just want something more in-depth and detailed. I may post again, but for now I am really happy with the wordress community.
I will always look to my tumbler to be inspired by the lovely images that are put up but as for blogging I will continue at http://londonmakeuploves.wordpress.com/ .
(Also I have uploaded some of my tumblr reviews on my wordress as well as made many more new ones. )
Make-up lovessssssssssss China Glaze : I’m not Lion
Not the best pic in the world. but hopefully it still conveys the beauty of this product. It’s a cool gold glitter polish, but it also has flecks of holographic glitter sparkling in the mix of this lovely nail varnish. Also because it’s not very bright when It was getting chipped you couldn’t really notice it very much, so if your lazy (like me) you can get away with keeping it on for longer with the illusion of perfect nails………. Mwah ha ha! (smug laugh).
I put a top coat of my usual Seche Vite, which really brought out the sparkles.
I totally love this.
I love this look. So dramatic, with my favourite gold and red! What more could I want.
I recently went to a beauty trade show, where for the first time I purchased some china glaze.
I have been wanting to try out china glaze for a while but it’s not readily available for purchase in shops.
So with out further a do here are my buys. from left to right : Beach Cruise-R, Luxe and Lush, I’m Not Lion, Swanky Silk, No Plain Jane, Ruby Pumps.
I have already tried “I’m not lion” which is a glittery holographic gold colour, and I thought it was amazing. Two layers of this and you have solid block of glitter nail. sooo cool.
I also just did one layer of this on top of “Swanky Silk” which is a cool gold, with a pink tone running through it, so far this is my favourite it’s really glamorous. With the combination of the two It looked really special.
Lastly I tried” No Plain Jane” Which is a purple with a golden brown running through it. This one to me doesn’t really show the multi-tonal effect as much, so I do feel like I paid extra for something that doesn’t really show up that much. It’s a nice purple, but I might just give this one to my friend as I already have several dark purples ,I don’t think I need any more.
Over all so far I think the nail varnish consistency is of a very good quality now I can finally see what all the hype is about. I wish I could buy more in this country in the future.

What's your favourite brand of lipstick?
- Mine is Estee Lauder. I know it's like the type of brand your mum would wear ( who do you think got me into it in the first place) I just find their quality of product ever so good. Far better than Mac.
- They are for sure aimed at the older woman, they never come out with a funky daring colours, but who needs that all the time. Make-up love estee Lauder lipsticks..........
Avoir la peche collection Paraguaya
One of my favourite sleek palettes of the summer.
With so many orange and peachy colours, with mink/brown tones to set them against. I am not so into the highlighter colours however. One is to matt the other is to shimmery, but other than that I think sleek’s Paraguaya works rather well as a palette. It’s got about half and half matt and shimmery colours.
The texture is pretty good, some colours are better than others admittedly but on the hole highly pigmented and great for darker skin tones.
But alas, fair well summer I may not be wearing these colours so often.
I’m not in love with this but I am ever so fond of this palette and at £7.99 I’m not complaining.
